step1
save your picture in resolution 100 dpi
width about 90
height about 60 or other way around that is mm
.jpg extention or .gif
file size should not be greater than 30kb
so anything between 20 and 30 looks ok on web

step2
login on the layers site
go to
create content
image
give your image appropriate name as it should appear on the site
choose your album
browse your file from your computer
write in body all information about your picture
tick enable comments if you wish to have comments from other people
